Each year we keep the very best fish to grow on for another year, this means the longer a carp has been kept by ourselves the better it has performed year after year, so its only the very best fish that are kept to C6s, C7s or C8s, so if you’d like the very best fish with maximum potential the larger year classes make sense, however you must be aware the larger the fish the larger the risk, larger fish don’t always do well being stocked into a strange new environment where they are being fished for, they have lived their entire lives in our un-fished lakes here on the farm, for specimen lakes we would recommend purchasing C4s, C5s or C6s and letting them grow into the lake rather than stocking very big fish, however we understand some customers require very large carp to make an impact, so we do and will continue to sell fish over the 30lb mark but only to fisheries where we feel they will do well, its a waste to stock a very large carp into a already overstocked fishery that may not do well, please bear this in mind when considering buying C7s or C8s. There’s a minimum order value of £100 for collections and £1,000 for deliveries, unless very local or we are passing your location.
